Join Meg van Wyk & Friends at The KAYA Café

Meg van Wyk is an emerging singer-songwriter who will captivate your heart with her golden voice, as she shares the poignant love songs written for and about her late husband. Throughout the performance, Meg artfully combines storytelling and ritual, allowing us to collectively honour our grief, healing and transformation. Meg shares the songs from Trousseau – her emotionally charged debut EP, as well as some new unreleased songs.

Daniel Zachariah Franks is a rare breed of multi-instrumentalist who is able to draw from a range of instruments in his quiver at any time – joining Meg on bass, alongside Ray Morgan on drums.

Completing the lineup is Maya Spector, with a voice like pure honey blending jazz and soul to weave stories through music that isn’t just heard, but felt.
