For the first time ever, the full State Alchemy Music roster comes together for a 12-hour psychedelic showcase, featuring all of our label artists, including both Live Acts and DJs – representing three different provinces.

Founded just two years ago, State Alchemy Music has already released nearly 20 projects from a diverse range of artists. We’re not defined by a single sound or aesthetic, instead, we represent the wide spectrum of South African psychedelic music. Our focus is on collaboration, creativity, and the evolving sounds of local psytrance in all its forms. All artists will be performing one-hour “power hour” sets, back-to-back, with no pauses or crowd claps between sets – keeping the energy high and the momentum relentless from start to finish.

We’re excited to return to Colorbox Studios, where we’ll be transforming the entire warehouse with a brand new sound system and full venue decor for a night of immersive alchemical energy. Downstairs, you’ll find food and coffee stalls, merch from the label, and various local vendors. Given the cooler weather this time of year, we’ll be hosting a single, focused dancefloor, keeping all the energy in one space for a truly united dancefloor experience.
